David has 8 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner. After serving in the United States Air Force (Security Forces) for 5 years, he obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Grand Canyon University, following up with a doctorate in nursing from Gannon University.
Board-certified, his areas of expertise are family medicine and emergency/urgent care medicine. Along with managing chronic and acute medical conditions, he is skilled and trained in joint injections, IV insertion, suturing, and other mildly invasive medical procedures.
David also educates nurse practitioner students at a local university and offers precepting hours for Nurse Practitioner students at our Mesa location.
A native Arizonan, David has lived in both Gilbert and Mesa, and is fluent in Spanish. He is married to Christy and is a dad to four daughters and three sons. Off duty, David enjoys working out at the gym, playing sports, going to the movies, and spending quality time with his family.
