Nicole Oberbillig has been practicing Family Medicine since graduating with a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University, Arizona. She earlier earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Arizona State University. Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Nicole was a medical assistant and scribe to an orthopedic surgeon.
Nicole is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her decision to practice in the area of Family Medicine is based on a strong motivation to help patients of all ages and backgrounds better manage a variety of acute and chronic conditions, and she strives to build a strong relationship with every patient.
A native Arizonan who grew up in the city of Tempe, Nicole enjoys hiking and traveling in the company of friends and family.

Dr Andrew Carroll has been our families PCP for years. He used to have a practice in Maricopa. It was called Renaissance Medical group. They have been my PCP since before 2007 when I got my lapband. His office and doctors there have always gave me and my family the best care. Now that his practice has moved and changed their name to Attembis. I still consider them my PCP. Although they are not contracted through the insurance I currently have. Well Saturday I practically cut off my pinky finger. So Insurance said get a referral to Ortho doc from your PCP . Even though I had one from the emergency room doc. Well I went to Attembis and they tried to do the referral but because they weren't contracted with my insurance it wasn't accepted. So they went above and beyond found me a PCP that was contracted, got me an appointment with that PCP . Helped me change my PCP with the insurance. And basically helped me get that referral that I needed to get surgery on my broken finger. And they didn't make one penny for helping me. Just did it because they are good caring people at a doctor's office with a doctor who truly gives you dedicated care. I will more than likely still go there and pay out of pocket..
Nicole PA, was very helpful with getting me everything I requested for my yellow fever vaccine. She was very sweet and understanding.

Dr. Williams-Vaughn is so kind and caring. She is one of the best medical providers I have ever worked with, I trust her where i have lost trust in many providers. She listens, ask important questions and is funny, which makes me feel very comfortable! I love working with the team at Atembis.
I’ve seen dozens of primary care physicians (PCPs) throughout the Metro Phoenix area over the past 50 years. Dr. Carroll is the most thorough, thoughtful, kind, and up to date PCP I’ve ever had. He and the other physicians at ATEMBIS have treated my wife and our adult son for about three years and we’re all very happy with the healthcare we’ve received from them.
The doctors at this practice listen and care deeply about providing good, science-based healthcare. Dr. Carroll seems to retain staff forever, which gives me further confidence in his practice. I have been with them for 15 years, and have only received quality care. Highly recommend!
This place was awesome! I found it because I was searching for a place to get a specific brand of the Covid vaccine. I was very nervous to get it and wanted full documentation when I did, including seeing the vial and watching the staff draw it up, taking pictures for my records, etc. I have had Covid twice, still have long lasting lung issues and fatigue from it, and for some reason don't show any blood antibodies against it. So I wanted to make sure the accuracy of what I was getting for future reference, because for some reason this virus keep winning! :/ Anyways, the entire staff worked with me to assure I was comfortable and Dr. Carroll came in to the room himself to make sure I was taken care of and my concerns were addressed. The entire staff was all very kind and considerate. I really appreciated it. I was not willing to get the vaccine without all my check boxes marked and they were very willing to accommodate. They also use texting to set up appointments and ask questions which was very convenient and made me feel comfortable from the start. I seriously can not recommend them enough!
Dr. Williams-Vaughn is a gem! I've never had a more pleasant visit with the doctor from the very first intake process right through to being able to get labs done right there in office. She and her office quickly helped me the few times I had extra questions and she was cognizant of my insurance plan when trying to figure out the best treatment plan for me. I appreciate that. So glad I finally found her!

I really appreciate how professional, personable, knowledgeable, and compassionate I have found the providers to be. I’ve had visits for various reasons with Dr Williams-Vaughn, Dr Carroll, Alicia, and Sean and I have come away from each interaction pleasantly surprised at how good of an experience it was. The staff I have interacted with is also great. I also appreciate that they continue to offer telehealth options for greater flexibility. So glad we found Atembis!
