Venecia has practiced Internal Medicine and Family Medicine for 15 years. She has been part of Sun Lakes Family Physicians, LLC, since 2015.
She is proud to call herself a University of Arizona Wildcat and after graduation, went on to obtain a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University, AZ.
Venecia’s father served in the U.S. Navy and being raised in a military household instilled in her an appreciation of hard work and a passion to help people. This is reflected in how she practices medicine, and her patients appreciate the effort she puts into their care.
She calls Chandler home, living here with her husband and their two children. When not seeing patients, she likes to immerse herself in a book. She also enjoys traveling and ballroom dancing.

Over the course of several years I've personally only ever had positive experiences here for myself, my wife, and my young daughters. The nurse practitioner Amanda has been great with everything we ever needed with my kiddos and I really liked the nurse practitioner Lauren for myself. She and Dr. Paige have a sense of humor that really meshes with mine so we all get along quite well.

Sun Lakes has been the best patient care I have ever received.
I used to have a primary physician that was 5 minutes from my home. I switched to Sun Lakes Family Physicians and couldn’t be happier in doing so! I travel 30 minutes now and do not care. They are so organized, friendly, and responsive! I highly recommend this office.

I have been seeing Sun Lakes Family Physicians for the last three years, and they are among my favorite doctor's offices. They always have availability when I need to see someone, all of the doctors and nurse practitioners are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and go above and beyond. I find that the staff and doctors take time with me in my sessions, and I don't feel rushed. The front desk staff, especially Mary, is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They will make you feel welcome and work hard to make sure my prescriptions are refilled and any questions are answered. I couldn't recommend Sun Lakes Family Physicians more.
The last doctor office I was with would only take text messages. You could never get anyone on the phone at all. They also had the Healow Health system App but never used it and I don't think they even knew they had it. I am now with Dr Paige at Sun Lakes Family Physicians and what a breath of fresh air. I have seen Dr Paige numerous times and he listens to me and realizes that I probably know my body well so when I ask him his onion for a certain medication or feeling like I need some blood work done, if it makes sense to him he orders it right away. They also have there own Lab on site! No driving all around and waiting in lines for lab work. I don't know everyone there individually but a shout out to Mary who checks you in efficiently, Amanda Higgins whom I have seen if Dr Paige is not available and Ashley for promptly taking calls and making appointments. All of the staff there ( if I did not mention you) are friendly and courteous. And I have to say that when you call there, you are talking to a human within just a minute or so. I am very happy I found Sun Lakes Family Physicians and can highly recommend them without hesitations.

I really do not write a lot of reviews, but I need to tell the world that Sun Lakes Family Physicians is a place I can really fully recommend. The admin people are so friendly, the Physicians area absolutely on top of everything. I would be dead by now, when I wouldn't have listened to Venecia Rayhons to get a Mammogram. I will be always thankful for her care especially. One doe not even know how to thank someone for that. And I was a little "cranky" due to Chemo and my health scare, but they helped in every way they can. Thank you.
