Dr. Chacko received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Before medical school, she earned a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, did her postdoctoral training at UT Austin, and worked as a technical writer.
Dr. Chacko has called Dallas, TX home since 2012. She lives with her husband and her daughter, who is currently doing research at a legal aid clinic. When not seeing patients, she enjoys travelling and trying new cuisines.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Pod since I moved to Mansfield in 2008. He is an excellent physician because he listens to his patients, which is the most important skill of a healthcare professional. He knows when to treat and when to refer patients to a specialist, which is another valuable skill for a healthcare professional. Finally, he always showed me respect, acknowledging my knowledge and experience in healthcare. Dr. Pod has now retired, and I’m more than a bit lost on who to choose as a primary care physician.
Dr. Podgurecki is absolutely the best. He's a doctor that really cares about his patients.

I appreciate Dr.Podgurecki and his staff, especially Funke very much. They are compassionate and thorough. So as far as medical care, I am very satisfied. I do get somewhat frustrated with the billing process. I will get a bill and pay it promptly, even receive a receipt for it, only to get billed for the same thing again later.
Dr. Pod has been my PCP for 20+ years and his care has remained the same. I appreciate the time he takes with his patients to make sure he understands them and then that they understand him.
