Mark Wyse, MD

Dr. Mark Wyse has been at Family Practice Specialists for more than 42 years and has twice been recognized, in 2009 and 2013, as a ‘Top Doc’ by Phoenix magazine.

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Wyse earned his MD from the University of Kentucky, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a member of the Christian Medical, and an adjunct assistant professor at Midwestern University’s Arizona campus. He also teaches medical students at Georgetown University School of Medicine and Duke University School of Medicine.

He has conducted extensive research on hypertension and, as a keen sportsman who maintains his fitness by playing tennis, pickleball, squash, bicycling, and weight training, values the benefits of an active lifestyle. He encourages his patients to exercise and practice good nutrition with a diet plan of his own design.

Dr. Wyse enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time in the great outdoors. He also travels frequently to Hawaii, Washington, and internationally, and makes sure to remain connected with his large family scattered throughout the country.
