Kate has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 21 years and she has a special interest in women’s health, management of HIV, and the preventative care and management of type 2 diabetes.
From St. Louis, MO, Kate received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Saint Louis University. Post-training she practiced as an expert clinician and consultant for trauma, oncology, otolaryngology, and neurosurgery patients.
Always looking for ways to help patients improve their health, Kate developed a means of assessing lung function and health, that is used as a teaching tool at the John J. Cochran Veterans Hospital in St. Louis. She is also certified as an HIV Specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
Enthusiastic about hiking, biking, marathons, and triathlons, Kate is outgoing and adventurous and loves the athletic environment of Arizona.
